Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred to your budget accommodation in Arusha. Here, you’ll receive a briefing about your upcoming safari and have some time to relax and prepare for your adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, your journey begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. You’ll embark on a game drive to spot these magnificent creatures and a wide variety of other animals. You’ll spend the night at a budget campsite within or near the park.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Leaving Tarangire behind, you’ll head to the iconic Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti’s vast plains and incredible wildlife, including the Big Five, will be the focus of your day as you embark on game drives to explore this renowned park. You’ll overnight at a budget campsite within the Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

A full day in the Serengeti is dedicated to immersive wildlife exploration. Game drives will take you deep into the park’s diverse ecosystems where you’ll search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and, if the timing is right, witness the Great Migration. Your night will be spent at a budget campsite in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Bid farewell to the Serengeti and journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You’ll also visit the Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site. In the afternoon, a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater will introduce you to a haven of wildlife. Your budget campsite on the crater rim will be your accommodation for the night.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

An early start for a final game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, a location known for its high concentration of animals, including the endangered black rhino. In the afternoon, you’ll return to Arusha, marking the end of your budget safari. You’ll be transferred to your chosen drop-off point, whether it’s the airport or your accommodation.
